Present Continuous Tense :
The Present Continuous Tense is used to express actions that are happening at the present moment or around the current time. It is formed using the present continuous tense marker in Urdu.
Identification in Urdu/اردو میں پہچان:
رہا ہے - رہی ہے - رہے ہیں
Auxiliary/Helping Verb:
am (I), is (he, she, it), are (you, we, they)
Affirmative/Positive Sentences:
Structure:
Subject + Present Continuous Tense Marker (رہا ہے - رہی ہے - رہے ہیں) + Verb (present participle) + Object
Examples:
1. "میں کتاب پڑھ رہا ہوں" (I am reading a book).
2. "تم کھانا بنا رہی ہو" (You are cooking food).
3. "وہ نئی گاڑی چلا رہا ہے" (He is driving a new car).
4. "ہم سیرت گزارہ ہیں" (We are spending the evening).
5. "تم مجھ سے مل رہے ہو" (You are meeting me).
6. "انہوں نے گانا گا رہے ہیں" (They are singing a song).
7. "میرے دوست واپس آ رہے ہیں" (My friends are coming back).
8. "ہوا برف برس رہی ہے" (It is snowing).
9. "تمہیں یہ پسند آ رہا ہے" (You are liking it).
10. "وہ ہمارے ساتھ چل رہا ہے" (He is going with us).
11. "ہم میلہ کر رہے ہیں" (We are having a gathering).
